The first atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima on August 6th, 1945, by the Enola Gay (B-29 Bomber). First atomic bomb used as a weapon. The explosive power came from the use of Uranium-235. It was a gun type bomb and was never tested before it was dropped on Hiroshima; they assumed it would work. |
